Uses:
Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antiseptic and astringent. Helps treat rheumatism and arthritis. The bark of black willow is recommended as a poultice in gangrene, and as an external application for sores and abrasions in which it stands unrivaled.

Black Willow has assisted in various swellings of the neck. Some have highly recommended it in asthma and gout. Taken internally and applied locally, is useful in gangrene.

Dose:
Liquids: Shake well. Take 20-40 drops in juice or water, before meals, 3 times a day, 6 days a week.

Its ability in assisting the functional overuse of the reproductive activity is great. Taking a higher dosage found less attraction within the gonads. However, sexual passion from any functional cause is moderated by Black Willow and it is helpful to the disorders of the sexually, intemperate male or female, and of the youth, subject day or night to libidinous suggestions and lascivious dreams terminating in pollutions, while for those extreme forms of sexual perversion, satyriasis, erotomania, and nymphomania, it is more nearly specific than any other agent. Not only does salix nigra act as a check to sexual passion and misuse, but it proves a useful tonic and sedative to many conditions following in the wake of sexual intemperance, among which may be mentioned spermatorrhoe.
